Management
Chris Ferguson is the President and CEO of Bywater Business Solutions. Bywater leverages technology, just-in-time manufacturing and Chris’ unique background to create solutions for its clients.  Adhering to Bywater’s mantra “Evaluate—Innovate—Execute”, Chris specializes in determining an organization’s challenges and how to overcome them to achieve its goals.

Prior to founding Bywater Business Solutions Chris held management positions in finance, sales and operations in companies ranging in size from startup to Fortune 500.  Chris has worked in commercial banking and on a currency and bond-trading floor in Toronto, at an investment bank in New York and med-tech and telecom technology companies in Minneapolis.  Chris has built an understanding of international business by working on transactions in more than 15 countries and managing a team on 4 continents.

Chris has an MBA in Finance from Schulich School of Business in Toronto, a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering and Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada. 

Chris serves as Chair of the Business Resources Collaborative and is on the Board of DRIVE Emerging Leaders a committee of the Minneapolis regional Chamber of Commerce.  

He lives in Eden Prairie with his wife and 2 sons.
